How To: Make Stainless Steal Sparkle!

Many people have issues with keeping their stainless steel products clean, and find that store bought cleaners just don’t always seem to cut it.  Here is an option for a DIY Stainless Steel Cleaner that has proven to be very effective.

Use 2 cups of hot water mixed with 1/2 cup white vinegar and 2 tbsp. of baking soda.  Once this is poured this mixture into a bottle it may foam up a bit but just let the foam subside before using it.

Spray the solution on the stainless steel surfaces and wipe clean following the grain of the stainless steel.

Vinegar allows cleaning without using harsh chemicals and it a great sanitizer. It cuts through the grease left behind such as fingerprints and wipes clean instead of sometimes just smearing it around like store bought cleaners have been known to do.

You can buy a new spray bottle for your DIY Cleaners, or re-purpose old cleaner bottles.  Always be sure to label to make sure everyone in the house knows what is now in the bottle.
