How To: Deep Clean Carpet

Hydrogen peroxide

We use Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle to spread the solution on any old stain. If it is really old, we sometimes will saturate the stain with the hydrogen peroxide solution so the stain will successfully loosen up the stain’s particles. Then, we simply let the solution to act for about 20-30 minutes. The next step will involves for us to put our foot in. Firstly, we on typically sprinkle some salt over the saturated stain with the hydrogen peroxide. Then, we apply a very stiff brush, work our elbows into the stain to loosen it up once and for all. Lastly, we need to absorb the peroxide and we can do that with dampened towels. That way, when we go to steam the stain after we can simply just vacuum the carpet to get rid of any debris left.

Club and Baking Soda

This is often used cleaning agent for the fact that club soda acts even better on set-in stains. Club soda will be excellent on any old stains, especially body fluid stains. All you need to do is spray some club soda on the stain and let it act for 15 minutes. Next, we perform the same thing we did in the previous method. Then, we use a brush, making sure that our work our way into the stain and then using damp towels to absorb the club soda, ending with vacuuming the carpet perfectly.

Salt
